Fair Ambassadors are vital to the success of the Broome County Fair and play essential leadership and support roles. A fair ambassador is a self-motivated, enthusiastic leader who promotes 4-H using the skills, knowledge and leadership abilities acquired in 4-H to all youth participants and the general public. Applicants must demonstrate mature, responsible behavior, and they must be able to assume leadership responsibilities among teens and/or peers. The main role as a fair ambassador is creating a positive experience for fellow 4-H members along with community members.
