It's fair season again! We'd love our teens to have a say in the planning and operation of the Broome County 4-H Fair. These meetings will be their opportunity for teens to share their ideas, gain leadership opportunities, and make new friends. We'll work on planning out the fair's social hours, Barnyard Olympics, party, decorations and more. It won't be all work though. We'll save time for food and socializing too. Join us!

Teens who participate in these meetings and help at the fair will be eligible for a teen group experience, likely in August-- which will be decided upon by the teens.

This open-house style event-- by the SusqueNango Kennel Club-- will give kids the chance to mingle with the dogs, learn about different breeds, and discover what makes each one unique. We'd really love to have a nice turnout for this to show appreciation to the club for their efforts on our behalf. This event is open to 4-H'ers from any county so feel free to invite your 4-H friends from other counties!

(This would be an especially great opportunity for our 4-H'ers that are looking to compete in the dog skillathon at the NYS fair-- learning about different breeds in person beats studying about them in a book.)
