Environment

CCE Broome County is your resource for information on recycling, composting, forest management and invasive species. We offer free programs on recycling and composting to schools, youth organizations and adult groups. These free programs are partially funded by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation with additional funding from the Broome County Division of Solid Waste.

Our Master Forest Owner volunteers can conduct a free visit to walk through your woodlot and provide management suggestions, resources and referrals. Staff work with both landowners and municipalities to address invasive species management issues.
