Learn how to make fresh, homemade salsa! We’ll cover the best tomato varieties to use, as well as proper food preparation techniques. You’ll learn about the difference between pressure canning and hot water bath, and when to use which. Each participant will go home with a sample of their very own creation to enjoy.
This workshop will take place at the Broome County Regional Farmers Market Commercial Kitchen on Wednesday, September 13th at 6:00pm - 7:30pm.
$40 per person
Participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes in the commercial kitchen.
Refunds are granted if we are notified at least 72 hours in advance.
