Public Presentations is often cited by 4-H alumni as the most significant and valuable 4-H learning experience, more so than any other 4-H program. Youth, with the support of their families, clubs, and 4-H staff learn to develop presentations on topics that are most relevant and exciting to them. With lots of practice and a little experience, youth develop confidence in presenting their topics in front of the evaluators at the County and even District level. The greatest learning begins when youth are able to use the positive, constructive feedback from our evaluators to further develop their skills in planning, preparing, and presenting their next presentation. Youth 13 & up who complete a county level public presentation during the year and submit a Member Report Form at the end of year will be eligible to interview for Awarded Trips.
Attend our workshops we will be hosting in January. These will help youth prepare and work towards giving a fabulous public presentation.
