Textile Waste and Mending Workshop
- Wednesday, April 22, 2026, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
This workshop will give an introduction to the textile waste crisis with facts and statistics, dive into the impacts of textile waste, and offer solutions that you can be a part of! We will end the workshop with a mending lesson from a CCE educator to learn some basic mending techniques to extend the life of your clothes.
Feel free to bring an item of clothing that needs some repairs to practice on along with any sewing materials of your own you may want to use.
