Join us for an excursion into the sweet world of maple syrup. Dan and Ruth Beasley are kindly hosting Broome County 4-H'ers at SweeTrees Maple Products, their family-owned facility in Berkshire. 4-H’ers will hike into the woods to learn all about how to make maple syrup— how to tap trees, which trees to use, and how their tubing system works. We'll then step into the sugarhouse to learn how that sap gets turned into delicious syrup, sugars, and candies. Bring your sweet tooth for sampling!
