Even though the Red-winged blackbird is one of our most common and present local birds, it goes largely unnoticed, or at least underappreciated. From the many years leading nature walks in our area, this species just might be one of the "perfect" bird subjects to discuss or focus on when in the field. One example for March, the Red-winged blackbird is a much better harbinger of spring for our area than the Robin! Come and find out why this species deserves a closer look.
Participants are invited to bring a lunch to enjoy with fellow community members, or purchase one from CCE's "Taste NY" store.
Registration is required. Admission is free.
