Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County and the Small Business Development Center at Binghamton University for a five-week business plan writing series. Each week will focus on a specific section of the business plan using AgPlan as the template and online business planning tool. Those that complete the series and do the work outside of the series will exit with a complete business plan that can be used to apply for grants and loans, and also guide future business decisions regarding expansion, diversification, and market channel opportunities.
Whether you are looking to create or update your existing business plan – this will be a great opportunity to learn from experts in the field! The Small Business Development Center has access to data regarding costs of production, consumer demand, and more which will be extremely helpful as you create your plan! All who participate will be enrolled with the Small Business Development Center and assigned an advisor who specializes in farms or food businesses.
The cost for this series will be $50, which will cover the cost of a light lunch each week and any necessary copies or other supplies. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required.
