Whether you're just getting started with poultry or already a seasoned chicken wrangler, this class has something for everyone! We'll cover all the basics you need to launch a successful poultry project—understanding poultry lifecycles, housing and equipment needs, nutrition, and basic health care.
But that's not all—advanced youth will also benefit from deeper knowledge to sharpen their skills. We'll pack in tips and insights to help with Avian Bowl prep and poultry showmanship. It’s never too early to start preparing, and even experienced poultry handlers will walk away with something new—you learn something every day in 4-H!
