You don't need to own a horse to join our horse program! This group is open to all youth interested in learning more about horses through hands-on activities and friendly competitions. We plan to meet about twice a month for study sessions or field trips, covering a variety of topics in equine science. The program is designed to prepare and motivate members for optional participation in 4-H Hippology, Horse Bowl, and Horse Judging competitions.​

​Participants will learn the basics of equine nutrition, with an overview of key vitamins and minerals, common feeds, and plant identification. The class concludes with a practical session creating nutritious horse treats.
