Walking a seasonal road any time of year is lovely. In winter, our focus will be on the diversity of trees, including the impact of insects on the forested landscape many years ago. We will also look for winter insects, bird nests, and animal tracks.
Directions will be sent before the walk. Please consider carpooling, because parking is very limited. The seasonal road has been plowed. I will include photos of the setting ahead of the walk. Please dress warmly, so we can see all there is to see. If the group gets too cold, we can turn back early.
Registration is free, but required.
