4-H Horse Program
You don't need to own a horse to join our horse program! This group is open to all youth interested in learning more about horses through hands-on activities and friendly competitions. We plan to meet about twice a month for study sessions or field trips, covering a variety of topics in equine science. The program is designed to prepare and motivate members for optional participation in 4-H Hippology, Horse Bowl, and Horse Judging competitions.
Each meeting starts with a short review of previous lessons, followed by a new topic. Returning members will have the chance to dive deeper in an advanced study group, while new members will join a beginner-friendly group to build a solid foundation. To keep things fun and engaging, we mix in games, crafts, or interactive activities at each session.
