Lunch with Tom - Spiders

Just the mention of the word "spiders" can make some people uneasy, anxious, or even trigger an even stronger response for those with a phobia to these small creatures. It is rare to find someone who enjoys or really loves spiders; many people fear what they do not understand. Join us as we take a broad look at spiders including some local species, anatomy, ecology, webs (and other hunting techniques), identification and misinformation, in an attempt to better "understand" how truly amazing they are and appreciate how integral they are to nature's "web" of life.
Registration is required, admission is free.
Held in the conference room of the CCE Ag Building (with the Taste NY store).
