What: Demonstration on Birthing Techniques & Maternity Care

• Details: Dr. Rob Lynch will bring a life size, calving simulator to demonstrate the birthing process in cattle. The demonstration will cover key birthing techniques, normal versus complicated procedures, and overall maternity care—applicable to all species, with a special demonstration on cattle. This is a hands‑on opportunity where every youth will have the chance to experience “birthing a calf.” Although this is a livestock program, it is open to anyone who is interested in learning and gaining a new experience!
• This part of our livestock program and counts as an educational program towards your auction requirements.

When: Thursday, May 8th

Time: 5:30pm- 7:30/8pm (Will depend on number of kids. Each will have an opportunity to work with the simulator)

Location: CCE Auditorium

Who: All Broome County 4-H Members
