Owls have become one of the most popular and beloved groups of birds. The Barred Owl is one of our 2 "large" resident owls. It is also probably the most distinctive of all our owls. The Barred is the most likely to be seen or heard, especially during the day. Join us as we become more familiar with this common owl.
Participants are invited to bring a lunch or buy one at the TASTE NY store to enjoy while catching up with friends prior to a nature education presentation provided by Tom Tasber. Light refreshments, instant coffee and tea, will be provided.
When: April 9th, 12:00pm-1:30pm
Where: Cornell Cooperative Extension in the Ag building (next to CCE where Taste NY is located).
This program is for Seniors (50+) only. Registration is required. Admission is free.
Free of Charge
