Hunting is an important practice in environmental conservation, and has long been continued though familial and cultural traditions. So how do people who are not part of typical hunting cultures or families get involved, especially later in life? Guest speaker Lauren Tonti is an accomplished conservationist hunter and educator. She will guide us through her journey of entering the field of hunting as an adult, navigating the challenges of finding her place in the field, and eventually starting to mentor others in their own ventures to become conservationist hunters. Following Lauren’s presentation, there will be plenty of time for questions.
This virtual event will be conducted on Zoom, open to all ages, and free of charge. Registration is required, and only registered participants will receive the Zoom link.
