Volunteer Opportunity: 4-H County Level Public Presentations

Join us in supporting our 4-H youth as they showcase their skills, creativity, and knowledge through public presentations. This event is a cornerstone of the 4-H experience, where participants deliver speeches or demonstrations on topics they are passionate about, building essential communication and leadership skills. Youth who earn high enough scores at the county level have the opportunity to advance to district competitions, with the potential to compete at the state and even national levels!

Volunteer Roles Needed Include:

• Evaluators: Provide encouraging and constructive feedback to youth presenters.
• Scorekeepers: Assist with tallying scores to ensure fair evaluations.
• Event Support: Help with logistics, directing families, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

To volunteer, participants must complete the 4-H volunteer process, which includes:

• Filling out a volunteer form/application.
• Watching a brief 10-minute online training video on sexual harassment (a link will be provided).
