Members will meet regularly to share their passion for horses while studying equine science. They will create and keep their own study book to keep and use in preparation for participation in Horse Bowl and Hippology. Participation in the competitions is not required, but they will be the motivational force behind the course material.
Can you identify where the poll, croup, dock, hock, or fetlock are? Learning equine anatomy is important knowledge to have as a horse owner. Miniature horse Autumn will be back for this hands-on learning lesson on the basic body parts for our beginners.
Our more advanced group will learn about equine massage techniques as they go over the skeletal and muscular systems. As always, each week we will also review material presented at previous meetings through either hands-on activities, Kahoot, Horse Bowl practice, or other trivia
games.
