Good nutrition is essential to the well-being of our horses. In this lesson we will cover the basics of nutrition and the anatomy of the digestive system. If time permits, we may start to cover Horse Judging as well. As always, each week we will also review material presented at previous meetings through either Kahoots, Horse Bowl practice, or other trivia games.

4-H Horse Program: Nutrition & Digestion

  • Monday, February 3, 2025, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Members will meet regularly to share their passion for horses while studying equine science. They will create and keep their own study book to keep and use in preparation for participation in Horse Bowl and Hippology. Participation in the competitions is not required, but they will be the motivational force behind the course material.
