Composting with Worms at VINES

CCE Recycling and Composting educator, Kira Hawes, will be returning to help us discover the incredible role worms play in recycling waste. Participants will learn how to establish and maintain a vermiculture system; then observe and feed an active worm bin, bringing the magic of vermicomposting to life! 

Participants will also have the chance to create their own starter vermicomposting bin, complete with live worms, to take home (One per family/group). Whether you're new to composting or looking to expand your sustainable practices, this class is perfect for all experience levels.

This workshop is FREE and open to the public. A suggested donation of $5-$10 is appreciated. Spaces are limited, so register today!
