The 4-H Horse Program members will meet regularly to share their passion for horses while studying equine science. They will create and keep their own study book to keep and use in preparation for the 4-H Hippology and Horse Bowl events.
In this meeting 4-H'ers will use the unique opportunity of the upcoming Stueben County 4-H's online model horse show to both advance their Hippology studies (by learning about the breed and breed origins of models) and to create their own entries for the show. We will learn about what a model horse show is, what judges look for, and how to enter. Members should bring their own model horses—any brand, any size-- to create an entry which we will prepare and submit together. While members are taking turns with their entries we will practice Horse Bowl trivia.
Show Information: Stueben County 4-H is hosting an online model horse show. Entries will be open on January 1st and will close on January 15th. First through sixth place will be awarded ribbons which will be sent through the mail.
