Professor Bruce Oldfield will return to talk with 4-H'ers about the fossils that can be found in our area. The rocks that make up our area were deposited by streams flowing off mountains 365 million years ago. These streams flowed to a shoreline on a sea that stretched out from Binghamton to the north and west. Come and learn how different this area was back in the Devonian Period. Examples of local fossils will be on display. Bring your local finds for identification and discussion.
