A double workshop! Learn how to make fresh ricotta cheese with Ann Supa, our CCE Nutrition Educator and fresh pasta with Amy Wieber from Flaming Bag Catering. Turn the two into your very own homemade ricotta ravioli in this hands-on workshop.
The class includes learning the essentials of making an easy, egg-based pasta dough, how to sheet the dough, how to make ricotta cheese, and finally, how to cut your pasta into ricotta-filled ravioli. We will review ingredients, tips & tricks during the mixing and sheeting steps, learn about the endless possibilities you can make from a pasta sheet, along with the steps to make ricotta. You will go home with fresh-made ricotta raviolis, sheeted and unsheeted pasta dough, and recipes for both the ricotta and pasta/raviolis.
