It’s a myth that composting stops in the cold! Learn how to prep your compost for the seasonal shift into colder months in this hands-on workshop. We’ll cover how to winterize your compost bin so it can keep decomposing food scraps all season long, whether you’re aiming for a hot compost pile with speedy decomposition or a simple cold compost setup. We will also be DIY-ing a compost accelerator/activator at the end, buckets will be provided!
This workshop is FREE and open to the public. VINES suggests donation of $5-$10 is appreciated.
