SARE Farmer Grant Info Session
Thursday Oct 3rd
5:30-7pm
Cornell Cooperative Extension Broome County/Ag Development Center

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County invites farms to join them on Thursday Oct 3rd as we discuss the release of the SARE (Sustainable Agriculture & Research Education) Farmer Grant and how to evaluate whether this grant is a fit for your farm and projects you have been dreaming of doing on your farm.

We will discuss:

  • The components of the grant application
  • How to put together a budget that makes sense
  • How to design a project you can actually implement
  • How to find technical assistance providers who can help you implement your project

You will leave this session with a better understanding of this grant program and how to put together an application which would not only meet their needs but also meet your farm's goals!

The cost to attend is $15/farm and pre-registration is required. Light refreshments will be provided. All questions can be directed to Laura Biasillo at lw257@cornell.edu.
