Join the CCE of Broome County for guided nature tours on kayak or canoe on Whitney Point Lake at Dorchester Park! We will discuss flora and fauna of the lake, local history of the site, and more! Each guided paddle will cover roughly the same content; folks are welcome to register for more than one date but please keep in mind that the content will be largely repeated.

Participants are welcome to bring their own kayak or canoe, or rentals are available on-site (kayaks $8/hr, canoes $5/hr). Space on each tour is limited and spots will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Youth under the age of 12 must be in a boat with an adult, and youth under 5 are unfortunately not permitted. PFD's must be worn at all times and will be available on-site.

Once an inquiry is received by submitting a form using the registration link below, a CCE nature educator will be in contact to confirm your registration. We will do our best to accommodate as many inquiries. Once all slots for a date are filled, additional inquiries will be placed on a wait-list in the event of another participant's cancellation.
