Celebrate Shakespeare and the Renaissance Era in Cutler Botanic Garden featuring performances by the Madrigal Choir and other local artists; tours of Cutler Garden; pageantry parades; raffles; costumed characters; craft and food vendors; children's activities and more!

"Much Ado" in the Garden is a free, family-friendly celebration of the arts, crafts, herbs and botany of Shakespeare’s England along with hands on adult and children’s activities. Whether you are 5 or 95, there will be something for you that will engage all your senses!

This year’s line-up includes:

  • The Madrigal Choir of Binghamton
  • Maypole dance and parade featuring the Dance Connection
  • Scenes from Shakespeare by the Half Light Theater
  • Children’s games by Weis Markets
  • Morris dancers
  • Jeff Wahl on recorder
  • Binghamton Poetry Project workshop
  • Botanic workshops
  • Shakespeare Garden trail with scavenger hunt
  • Raffles, vendors, plant sales and more
