CNY 4-H Livestock Rodeo-Sheep & Meat Goats

Come learn all about sheep and meat goats in this multi-county all day hands on clinic. During this clinic youth will learn all about sheep and meat goats from raising to showing. The day will be consist of learning how to prep sheep and goats for a show and have a showmanship contests. Each youth will leave with a tool to help prepare them for show season!

You are welcome to bring your own sheep or meat goat but it is NOT a recruitment, free day leases will be available!

Clinic will be held at the Broome County Fair Grounds in Whitney Point, NY.

Schedule of events:
9:30-10:00am select pens, animals, and set up
10:00-10:15am - Welcome, overview, ice breaker
10:15-12:00pm- Show prep and showman clinics
12:00-12:30pm- Lunch
12:30-3:00pm- Animal prep and training
3:00-4:00pm- Showmanship contest
4:00pm- Prizes, awards, and wrap-up, clean-up
