Build a Better Tomato Cage and More

  • Saturday, April 18, 2020, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Tired of those wimpy wire tomato cages? Construct your own cages from concrete rebar wire with the help of Master Gardener Volunteers and CCE Staff. Each cage is 5 ft. tall and 2 ft. in diameter. They also make a space saving trellis for peas, beans or cucumbers. All materials and tools needed are provided. Please dress for the weather and bring a pair of garden gloves. Cost for this class is $15 per household and includes 2 cages. Additional cages will be available for $5 each. We will also cover some tips on growing tomatoes. Class size is limited so pre-registration is required.
