DESCRIPTION:Join CCE of Broome County for guided nature tours on kayak or canoe on Whitney Point Lake at Dorchester Park! We will discuss flora and fauna of the lake, local history of the site, and more! Each guided paddle will cover roughly the same content; folks are welcome to register for more than one date but please keep in mind that the content will be largely repeated.Participants are welcome to bring their own kayak or canoe, or rentals are available on-site (please visit this site for Dorchester's rental pricing). Space on each tour is limited and spots will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Youth under the age of 12 must be in a boat with an adult, and youth under 5 are unfortunately not permitted. Life jackets must be worn at all times and will be available on-site. Only kayaks and canoes will be permitted; no other boats or paddleboards may be used for this program.Please register separately for each participant that will attend.
