Composting is an important action everyone can take to help create healthier garden soils, prevent food waste being sent to the landfill, and reduce emissions that contribute to climate change.
In this workshop attendees will learn the basics of the composting process and how to create and maintain their backyard bin. We will explain each step of the composting process including site selection, the pros and cons of various composting bin types, acceptable materials to compost, and how to harvest and use the finished product.
