4-H Education Center at Finch Hollow - Senior Brown Bag Lunch
Adults age 50 and up are invited to bring a "bag lunch" to enjoy with fellow seniors at Finch Hollow. Enjoy your lunch while catching up with your friends prior to a presentation (see topics below). Light refreshments, instant coffee and tea will be provided.
The program will be held from 12pm-1:30pm on the second Wednesday in October-December. Reservations are required. Admission is free.
Wednesday, October 12th - The Bald Eagle
The natural history of our National Symbol will be explored as well as the decline and bounce back of this magnificent New York State raptor.
Wednesday, November 9th - The Wild Turkey
Many people equate the turkey to Thanksgiving, but we will examine this very interesting bird from "gobble to tail" and beyond.
Wednesday, December 14th - Animals In Winter
We will look at many of the interesting and unusual ways our Broome County wildlife make it through this difficult time of the year.
