Expanded Learning Network

The Expanded Learning Network (ELN) is a coalition of afterschool and out of school time providers dedicated to serving youth of all ages in the greater Binghamton region. OUR MISSION & VISION

Our mission is to cultivate growth of quality expanded learning opportunities by fostering connections and supporting partnerships through networking, collaboration and advocacy.

We envision a community where:

  • Young people have access to high quality, well-resourced out of school time programming
  • Schools, youth-serving agencies, businesses, and faith communities collaborate to provide supportive programs focused on youth voice, careers, and positive youth development
  • Out of school time providers feel connected, supported, and highly competent in their work
  • Local and state government offers vocal support and action for out of school time programs
  • Parents and community members are aware of our community‚Äôs wide variety of programs and volunteer/donation opportunities
