A year-round farmers' market is finally coming to the Southern Tier and it’s right in Cooperative Extensions’ backyard.
Community Leaders and Farmers met on Tuesday October 20th to break ground on the new Regional Farmers' Market. The 6,700 square foot facility will include space for 36 vendors to sell goods and include a commercial kitchen where farmers will be encouraged to test and create products.
Construction of the project will be completed by local contractors Keystone Associates, Fahs Construction Group, Schuler Haas, Petcosky and Sons, and Louis Picciano.
