Advanced Home Composting

  • Wednesday, May 15, 2019, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

This workshop is held in cooperation with Volunteers Improving Neighborhood Environments (VINES)

If you’ve already been composting, but would like to improve your results, then this workshop is for you! We’ll explore the science of composting to learn about the micro and macro organisms that drive the decomposition process, and learn how moisture, air flow and particle structure impact the process. We will also cover the pros and cons of different compost bin designs and how to get the most out of your compost. Come out and learn how to take your compost to the next level!

This event will be held at the Broome County Public Library, 185 Court St, Binghamton @ 6pm.
