Broome County 4-H will be offering the YQCA training for youth to become accredited by the National YQCA program on Tuesday, March 18th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
The Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) is a national multi-species quality assurance program for youth ages 8 to 21 that focus's on three core pillars: food safety, animal well-being, and character development. The youth will be able to take what they learn and utilize it on their own 4-H animal projects. Youth that complete the program will receive a certificate from YQCA to use in marketing of their own animals.
The cost of the program is $3 for the national accreditation. If you have any questions or are interested in the program please contact Brian at email@example.com or 607-584-9967 by March 15th.
