Accessing Capital Roundtable: Finding Resources to Grow Your Agricultural Business

  • Thursday, April 26, 2018, 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County invites farms, food-based businesses and agricultural businesses to join them for a panel discussion on accessing capital to grow their business. Whether it is low-interest loans, grants or crowdfunding, the options are often overwhelming. Join us on Thursday April 26th inside the Agricultural Development Center, housed on the CCE Broome County campus, as we hear from representatives of various programs and have the opportunity to ask questions.

Presenters at this session will include:

  • New York State Department of Agriculture & Markets and Empire State Development
  • FarmCredit East
  • Tioga State Bank
  • Kiva Zip
  • Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education Farmer Grants
  • The Agency
  • Others TBD

This is a great opportunity to learn about the options for accessing financing and other resources to grow your farm and/or food-based business!

Cost is $10/farm to attend, to cover the cost of refreshments and printed materials. Please pre-register to ensure enough food & materials are ordered. Pre-registration is required.

Fee
