This workshop will help you develop effective tools for training and evaluating new employees or employees moving into new positions.

Starting a Successful Value-Added Food Business

Learn how you can extend your season and increase your income potential. Hear from a panel of local and state agencies, Nelson Farms (a co-packer) and a local blueberry farmer. We’ll also hear from TASTE NY, the Broome County Regional Farmers Market and the Broome County Commercial Kitchen.

Keeping Good Staff When Money is Tight

This workshop will cover research on rewards and incentives in the workplace to learn tools to attract and retain farm staff and reduce staff turn-over.
