Cornell Cooperative Extension will be offering a workshop on seed saving. Seeds are the most important food on earth. Saving seeds is an easy way to ensure a cost effective future for foods that you enjoy growing. Join Master Gardeners Gail Kovac and Sandy Copeland in the Heritage Vegetable Garden at Cutler Botanic Gardens and learn how to gather and preserve many different varieties of seed. Demonstrations of useful techniques, hands-on activities, seed collection materials and information sheets will be provided.
Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited to 15 people. The cost is $8.00/per person. To register (to ensure we have enough materials), please call 607-584-9966 or visit: https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/2015fallgardening_203 to register and pay online.
